MAVA seeks majority, or influential minority, equity positions in established companies with proven management teams. Our primary focus is to provide companies expansion capital to finance acquisition or internal growth. We target enterprises that show strong revenue and profit growth potential both domestically and regionally. We consider the entire spectrum of venture capital, development capital and MBOs. In particular we seek opportunities in industries in which we have already accumulated experience such as: IT services, telecommunications, medical technologies, engineering, food and drink sectors.

We believe that the consolidation of Central & Eastern Europe's fragmented markets and growing consumer buying power provides outstanding opportunities for service businesses. We also believe that proprietary and contract manufacturing of specialized goods will be a growth sector thanks to a technology transfer combined with a skilled and relatively low cost workforce.
